I rarely post #films that I dislike but #GoAskAlice - the book (the diary of a drug addicted teen that has since been proven to be fraudulent) + the #film were favorites of mine as a young teen. Rewatching now I was astounded by the bad acting + overwrought messaging. The only highlight was a young #MackenziePhillips in her 1st film role

Just found out that the infamous "Go Ask Alice" story happened to be a false diary. That book is part of the 1970's Satanic Panic hysteria that fed so many morbid minds in America. What a shame.
