@DamienMarieAtHope The #GnosticGospels have a really interesting interpretation of that being -- Yaldabaoth, the Demiurge (half-maker), who is the misbegotten son of Sophia (Wisdom), and is the embodiment of base impulses and ignorance. The premise is that sparks of the Divine are trapped in this realm, which reminds me of #Buddhist tenants.
