Io uso per lavoro/casa solo debian e centos/fedora, Ubuntu & co. li uso giusto per i vecchi PC/portatili che non voglio far rottamare.
Il resto mi lascia indifferente.

@toad eeeh ma #gnome40 è stato un colpo di fulmine, è amore a prima vista, hanno fatto un salto in avanti anni luce, il problema era l'autonomia del laptop ma ora che hanno risolto non c'è paragone, è come passare dal :commodore: #C64 all'#Amiga :amiga: 😁

#Fedora è l'unica distro seria che usa #gnome41 mi pare, quindi è la scelta forzata, l'implementazione gnome su ubuntu la trovo terribile, il resto mi paiono tutte windows 95/XP con i brillantini, roba del secolo scorso lisciata col botox 😉

Fedora 35 Released with GNOME 41, Improved PipeWire Experience

Fedora Workstation 35 is now available to download. Yes, I know: this is not technically Ubuntu related, but I do like to report on events from outside the orange bubble from time to time — heck, I really should get around to doing something with omglinux.com, shouldn’t I?. Plus, I use Fedora regularly in order to keep tabs on GNOME development. So what’s new in Fedora 35? Quite a bit! The recent GNOME 41 desktop release is included in full. This introduces a slew of enhancements, ranging from new multi-tasking options in the Settings hub through to easy-to-access power mode :sys_more_orange:

#gnome 40 è stata una release vincente offrendo una user experience veramente appagante 😍 molto più rispetto al passato.

Dal changelog credo che anche #gnome41 vincerà a mani basse con chicche come la gestione dei profili energetici "in bella vista".

Non vedo l'ora di provarla su #fedora 35.

GNOME 41 Released with New Multitasking Settings, Revamped Software, and More

The GNOME project today released GNOME 41, the latest version of its open source desktop environment. And it brings some interesting additions to the table. As with most GNOME desktop updates, GNOME 41 is packed with an assortment of new features, user interface tweaks, and performance improvements. GNOME says that “:sys_more_orange: with these changes, GNOME is smarter, more flexible, and offers a richer and more engaging experience than ever before.” Source code for the latest release is available to download from the GNOME website from today. However, most Linux users will want to wait for their distro maintainers to package it :sys_more_orange:
