#Fedora è l'unica distro seria che usa #gnome41 mi pare, quindi è la scelta forzata, l'implementazione gnome su ubuntu la trovo terribile, il resto mi paiono tutte windows 95/XP con i brillantini, roba del secolo scorso lisciata col botox 😉

We’re just a few short weeks away from the final Ubuntu 21.10 release, but first things first: a beta. Yes, Ubuntu 21.10 beta is now available to download. Developers and non-developers alike can go hands on with the “Impish Indri” to try it out ahead of a stable release on October 14, 2021. Those who install the Ubuntu 21.10 beta can upgrade to the final version (when it arrives) just by installing all updates — and I do mean all — as they arrive down the chute. Nautilus 40 Arrives in Ubuntu 21.10 Daily Builds
Nautilus 40 is winging its way to the Ubuntu 21.10 daily builds. While it’s arrival isn’t the most newsworthy event set to occur this cycle, Nautilus 40 carries a small crop of improvements and features that Impish daily testers will want to have a play about with. Such as? Well, this update to the famed file manager finally lets you sort files by creation date in the list view (a long-standing ask); is said to relay ‘more accurate’ file transfer and copy estimates; and improves tab completion in the location entry bar (accessed by pressing ctrl + l). Upgraded #pop_os last night from 20.04 to 21.04 on my main rig. The uograde was slow and a bit nerve-racking. In the end, I must say that #PopOSCosmic desktop is quite nice. I no longer need #dashtodock #gnomeextension installed. I hope this DE carries on into #gnome40. Otherwise, it is #kde on a different distro as a replacement.

So, I tried #fedora34 today and I didn't expect to be disappointed, but here I am. I don't like #gnome40, in fact it is making me consider a different distro and different DE for a laptop that I have that currently runs Fedora. Lately, #arch with the #lts kernel has really been my favorite. But, I don't want 2 machines with the same distro. So, the search for another distro continues. I think #linuxlite may be a contender.
