Believe it or not, I actually ended up submitting a game to the #GMTKJam2023: https://njamster.itch.io/gravathon

It's an #InfiniteRunner / #Sidescroller / #Platformer, only this time you don't control a boring plumber or edgy hedgehog, no, no, but gravity itself!

Since I spent – as so often – WAY too much time looking for an idea and did pretty much all the work today, it's a bit rough around the edges, but I'd love to hear your thoughts and feedback anyways!

Starting to think I'll have to pass on #GMTKJam this weekend. Quite exhausted at the moment and I think I need the weekend as a weekend and not a 48h #gamedev marathon 😕

Might instead spend some time working on #DatenzwergLeaks stuff, possibly with @Romses. That's actually relaxing and soldering and stuff vs code code code. We'll see.

Next, I played #WordFactori, which originally saw the light of day as an entry for the #GMTKJam 2021 and is now fleshed out into a full game. If you like managing and optimizing supply chains in games like #shapez, #OpusMagnum or #Factorio, you’ll probably have your fair share of fun with this. That being said, the main gimmick (you’re crafting letters of the alphabet) doesn’t shake things up enough for me to warrant a recommendation over any of the aforementioned titles.
