Today i'm setting up the #KaliLinux #Docker #container for my #ansible #playbook. This setup has some pretty cool advantages for me.

I can:

• access the shell and files using #SSH and #SFTP.
• customize the installation to the fullest extend using the #Dockerfile.
• easily route the #networktraffic through a #vpn using #gluetun.
• reproduce the setup (i love Docker).
• use GUI apps from that container using X11Forwarding or by installing a #vnc server.

This has been my favorite #pentesting setup so far for obvious reasons. I can access a fully configured pentesting environment on all my devices, always accessible and ready to go.

In case anyone is interested in the setup, it will be included in my ansible playbook, which will be published on this repository.

Ich nutze die Nextcloud App #ncdownloader und darüber lade ich Musik von YouTube in meine #Nextcloud, um sie wiederum dann darüber hören zu können. Also eine Privat Kopie, was ja grundsätzlich erlaubt ist.

I have finally gotten around to creating a docker container that runs my qBittorrent Port Update script. If you like me are running qBittorrent paired with a VPN tullen provided by Gluetun, it basically endures that qBittorrent is always listening on the current Glutun forward_port

Added an update to my qBittorrent port update script. It now supports fetching container name/id from the config file instead of using a hard coded name. Honestly this should have been in there from the start.

#BigBearTechWorld have added #Gluetun to their CasaOS repo. I haven't tried it yet, but this does give me hope

I installed some Jellyfin apps on my OSMC pi, and it can now see my files. Videos run at about a frame every few minutes or so... Maybe that old pi3 just isn't up to the task.
Still using my Chromecast.

Looking for an #AudioBook server, #AudioBookShelf looks like a very likely candidate.

Also got #Calibre-web running but it's a bit painful to use with an e-ink device.

I'm now scratching my little grey cells trying to understand even the basic basics of getting #Gluetun up and running with CasaOs. I do not expect success this century.
Jellyfin is running, but #Kodi on another pi running #OSMC doesn't want to cooperate fully. Fortunately the android jellyfin player app on my Chromecast is behaving, but I'd prefer to have a de-Googled set up.
Anyway, I have a long weekend now so time to break everything a few times...
