Man, the #tariffs are really screwing over the #boardgaming community. A $15 billion (2023) annual US market, circling down the drain.
It's hard to keep track of everyone with current unfulfilled #kickstarters, but anyone sitting with products in China is most likely fucked. Which means the companies behind, #SpiritIsland #Gloomhaven #Wingspan #ShadowsofBrimstone #HoMM3 #Middara etc.
I hope the community can recover, but too many indies rely on the US market to survive (economies of scale).

Morning Mastodonians!
I've had a pretty good week of #ComputerGaming. Tuesdays are #Gloomhaven with C and, after 4 hours, we almost finished a 2 room dungeon. Not sure we'll even win! And then last night, 4 Guys Coop did finish Ch 4 of #SeriousSam 4, Gates of Hell, after 2 tries, even with 10 lives. So far it's fun but it's missing the crazy chaos of the wide-open levels of the earlier classics.
