A first for me – never been to Tewkesbury before and I was just knocked out by this first sight of Tewkesbury Abbey.
Full name, the Abbey Church of St Mary the Virgin and many regard it as one of the finest examples of Norman architecture in Britain (I'm assuming they have Durham Cathedral, in my own home neck of the woods, on that list too!).
Must admit, I found it a very welcoming place, dog-friendly and photographer-friendly too!
