My danmei novels from Atom Comics arrived! This is definitely my reward for finishing my student registration form and taking videos of myself speaking Mandarin. 😊
So far I’ve only unwrapped Global Examination Volume I. Aaah, look at this gorgeous book! The translation is great as well!

Ohohoho.
Qin Jiu now knows that You Huo used to be Invigilator A, but doesn't know that Yuo Huo also knows.
Their interactions now are so awkward and it's so funny (to me) how they're dancing around each other, but also how they're such a good team of troublemakers.
I am dying to see if they recover their memories. Qin Jiu has Zhao Wentu's diary and cellphone. Yuo Huo now has Invigilator 21, who seems fond of him.

Anyway, I finished #GlobalExamination and enjoyed it the whole way through! Infinite flow #danmei with strong MC x strong ML who compete the whole time and like each other a huge amount, a good ensemble cast featuring well-developed female characters, fun puzzles to solve and a happy ending. 😍

#GlobalExamination: I’m charmed by how Yu Wen’s character gets fleshed out in this book. He starts out as the ignoramus little cousin who got through his (real) exams by picking the short answer if there are two long choices and one short, and writing down ‘Answer’ to get two pity points if he really can’t think of anything else. By the end of the book, we’ve seen him use his non-academic skills and make a friend, and then there’s this exchange. 🌕💁🏻♂️👤

CW: Global Examination: not very spoilery thoughts about the main cp
#GlobalExamination: really enjoying the relationship between the main couple here! They are both rule-breakers and tease each other relentlessly, but despite a huge number of unknowns about the whole situation to begin with, they very quickly start to trust each other and respect each other’s competence.
Plus, You Huo’s cousin goes from wtf-my-cousin-has-a-boyfriend?!?!? to calling Qin Jiu/Invigilator 001 ‘brother’ within about two chapters, and that’s :blobcatchefkiss:
