Schönste Momente mit Kindern:

Langsam wird das Kind immer größer. Seit etwas Mitte der zweiten Klasse ist es in einer LesePhase.
Teilweise verschlingt es 3 Comics am Tag. In der örtlichen Stadtbücherei gibt es fast keine ungelesene mehr mit weiblicher oder nichtmännlicher Protagonistin. Nachdem es mich in den "Lustigen Taschenbüchern" (Donald Duck/Mickey Mouse) immer mal wieder auf die sexistischen/ableistischen Inhalten hingewiesen hat (große Liebe dafür!) war heute einer neuer "Glimmer"/"Schönster Moment":

Das Kind liest mir einen Witz aus dem Witzebuch vor: "Ein Schornsteinfeger läuft über einen Zebrastreifen [...]" - und noch wärend das Kind laut und flüssig vorliest, bemerkt es das generische Maskulin, stellt sich darauf ein und spricht den Glottisschlag und die Endung "-in" mit, obowhl das so nicht im Buch steht.

Mein Herz machte einen riesiegen Satz, ich bin immer noch super doll gerührt 💜✊

Once inside the #Hedge, the #Garden, though #Sleeping for the #Winter, nevertheless seemed to #Glimmer with #Hidden #Life.

A winding #Flagstone #Path made its leisurely way to the door of the house, lined on both sides with tufts of #Sage, #Thyme, #Rosemary, and #Lavender, grayed with cold.

In place of #Grass, the #Earth on either side of the path was a riot of #Plants in varying stages of #Hibernation and #Decay.
