I didn't think passing Bill C223 to study a Guaranteed Livable Income would be an easy win, but neither did I think it would be so strongly defeated.

And this was just for a study! The cost would have been minimal, but I guess politicians were afraid the study results might have indicated they've done a poor job of providing the social safety net they claim we have in Canada.

Het aantal deelnemers dat startte met de Gecombineerde Leefstijlinterventie (GLI) is in een jaar tijd meer dan verdubbeld. Landelijk zijn inmiddels 82.000 mensen met de GLI gestart.

De meeste deelnemers boeken resultaat, blijkt uit ons jaarrapport. Zo valt 4 op de 5 mensen af of hun lichaamsgewicht neemt niet verder toe. Verder waarderen deelnemers de kwaliteit van hun leven hoger dan voor deelname.
