My throat still hurts a little – this has been pestering me for the last two weeks. But I wasn’t really in a situation in which I could just get back up and in shape. Now, I‘m opting for a special kind of medicine. When visiting #Scotland for the first time in 2006, my wife had a sore throat. She drank a little from the cask strength Glenfarclas single malt whisky. The very next day, everything was fine again. So, whenever we are plagued by a sore throat, that‘s the way to go! #Glenfarclas

1045 last night. Can't be bothered staying up til midnight, let's pretend we're in Germany & celebrate at 11 then go to bed.
Opens new bottle of #Glenfarclas, stopper disintegrates leaving whisky full of cork bits.
Spends ½ hour decanting & filtering the malt & cleaning the bottle.
Meanwhile finish off a bottle of #GlenMoray so we've now got a useable stopper for the Glenfarclas.
Oh well, may as well stay up til midnight now. And #TideLines are on #BBCAlba.
