    'We must work against parasitic AI tools. Those tools that exact a mephistophelean toll each time they are used, siphoning lessons learned from our use to sharpen a tool that can be reused for purposes that run counter to our core values. Think of the trade-off between increasing access to a civil rights archival collection using an AI tool that in turn strengthens tool ability to be used by a government down the line to suppress its population. It is a ghastly and untenable exchange.'
