  11. Fjallsárlón is a special place. This glacial lagoon is not as big nor spectacular as Jökulsárlón, but both times I’ve been it was really quiet - hardly anyone around. You can see so much here, including the ice flow down the mountainside.

    I tried to capture the glacier snout with a 300mm lens. I didn’t have a tripod, the light was fading & the lens was heavy, but i was pleased with how it came out 😊
