Watching the live watch-along of MST3K’s “The Mask” (no not that “The Mask”) on the #gizmoplex in support of the fine folks over at #MST3K trying to drum up cash for season 14; I haven’t contributed yet myself as I’m just barely gonna be able to make rent this month, but if you’re a fan of MST3K & you’ve got some extra change in your pocket, please consider tuning into their #turkeyday telethon this Thursday and donating towards the funding of Season Fourteen! #monsterdon https://showmaker.mst3k.com/makeseason14

"I am so excited about what we’re planning for season 14, and I’m also happy to tell you that this time around, we’ve already begun the process of securing some amazing and baffling movies for next season, and we’ll be revealing those movies during the campaign. But the only way for us to make more MST3K is if you choose to support us again. We’ve got until Friday, November 24, to make it happen." https://showmaker.mst3k.com/makeseason14?ref=ab_cCwlbe #MST3K #JoelHodgson #MakeMoreMST3K #Gizmoplex #Fundraiser

A great S14 begins to take shape...

This movie is crazy bonkers nuts fun as a standalone (with an amazing cast); what a great candidate for riffing from the bots. Script by the great John Sayles! James Cameron on the special effects team! _John-Boy Walton???_ Can't wait to see what they'll do with it on the SoL.... #mst3k #MakeMoreMST3K #Gizmoplex #SeeYouInTheGizmoplex #mst3kshowmaker

I’ve collected quite a few stickers recently. What better way to display them than on my devices?

I started with my MacBook Pro. I didn’t want to make it hard to remove the stickers later on if I wanted to change them out or, when the time comes, sell my MacBook for an newer model, so I first wanted a “blank canvas” I could use. Dbrand came to the rescue with a “Kind of Purple” skin for the top of laptop. It’s a great color on its own, plus it will help keep my laptop case free of blemishes.

I started with this sticker from Mystery Science Theater 3000. I’ve contributed to the various Kickstarters which MST3K has held in order to produce seasons 11-13 of the show. Season 13 also led to the premiere of the Gizmoplex, MST3K’s own home for all of their episodes, both classic and current. I’m proud to show that I’m a founding member!

One of the features of MST3K is “Intermission sign”, which, just like drum corps, usually takes place in the middle of the show. It seemed fitting that I put my own intermission sign in the middle of my tableau, in this case, the logo for Intermission Drum and Bugle Corps.

Speaking of intermission at drum corps shows, a classic intermission meal is the hot dog. Hot dogs are popular in Cleveland, as well, thanks to the Sugardale Hot Dog Derby race which takes place during each Cleveland Guardians home game. I gave the hot dogs a seat at the game to race for, putting the dogs in their final order of finish for 2023.

My sticker tableau is now complete.

My #Kickstarter rewards for backing the creation of the #Gizmoplex for #MST3K back in 2021 have arrived. Posters, popcorn box, cup, 3D glasses, coin, T-shirt, Blu-ray box set of season 13, stickers, and the surprisingly hefty, musical snowglobe.

Well, just a mere 29 months after backing the second #MST3K #Kickstarter campaign to build the #Gizmoplex, my rewards are finally being shipped from the US and should be here next week. It's taken its sweet time.

@duckfloss

Wait until you find the #Gizmoplex.

Finally got the #swag from the #kickstarter for more #mst3k like 2 years ago. Genuinely awesome! Can't wait to eat popcorn and watch classic mst3k with the missus tonight! Now they just need to grt the #gizmoplex into the streaming app for full cinematic-scientific immersion! #monsterdon

Got a "free" #Chromecast as part of a necessary upgrade to image storage with Google which means we can finally get the #Gizmoplex app to play through the TV, and that means we can go back through the #MST3K catalogue looking for episodes we've not seen (or don't remember watching) along with classics we can't get enough of. Tonight, it's one we can't remember ever seeing: S01E09 Robot Holocaust.

And have somehow not heard of #monsterdon before tonight so am not able to catch up. Enjoy your turtle movie! Am going to watch #MST3K Doctor Mordred on Pluto, because the #Gizmoplex community screenings haven’t kicked in *cries*

Love the riff in The Mask episode of season 13 referencing the Entourage HBO show! It hits on more than one level. #MST3K #TheMask #EntourageHBO #Season13 #LOL #Gizmoplex #MakeMoreMST3K

Very much looking forward to todays event in the Gizmoplex! - "Worlds collide, as RiffTrax hosts a special livestream event in the Gizmoplex! Join Mike, Kevin, and Bill for a classic full-length riff, followed by the live watchalong of a brand-new short, plus a live Q&A with the guys!" - https://www.gizmoplex.com/featured/videos/special-rifftrax-goes-to-the-gizmoplex #Gizmoplex #Rifftrax #MST3K #Rifftastic

We've got the movie on DVD, and through helping to fund the #Gizmoplex we've got on demand streaming access to the movie too, but here we are anyway, watching a VHS quality version of #DevilFish on the #MST3K channel on #PlutoTV and still absolutely loving just how terrible the editing is on this film. It's a work of art.

#BadMovies

I'm so glad the #MST3K channel on #PlutoTV has added the new episodes from the crowdfunded #Gizmoplex - the new cast is so much fun (both in the Satellite of Love and the Simulator of Love), and it's clear to me that MST3K is in great hands!

Yes, I am wearing shorts for the Festival of Shorts. I'm also wearing thermal underwear because it's cold around here. #MST3K #Gizmoplex

I expect the entire #MST3K cast, including robots, to be wearing shorts for the Festival of Shorts on the #Gizmoplex

Still enjoying some festive movies. https://www.gizmoplex.com/videos/mst3k-330-thechristmasdragon #NowWatching #ChristmasDragon #MST3K #gizmoplex

@doormouse Santa Claus Conquers the Martians. It was the #Gizmoplex tribute live stream last night. It has been longer than I thought since I watched the episode and I didn't remember the skits.

Woke up for #TurkeyDay and the first episode I see is "Catalina Caper."

Ohh #Creepygirl...
