Something that could have saved I May Be a Guild Receptionist, but I’ll Solo Any Boss to Clock Out on Time is if it had an interesting power system. Unfortunately, it does not. The skill system used in the series is painfully bland.

Glen Garia's motivation for wanting to revive a Dark God is that he wants to revive his daughter. That's the most generic motivation for a sympathetic villain there is. Even Boruto and Dr. Stone did it.

Girumasu Episode 11 takes the most boring path possible with the man in black. Yes, it's Glen Garia. And yes, all of his motivations are what you probably expect. I thought this series might have at least one twist.

Girumasu Episode 10 leaned pretty heavily into implying that the guild master and the mysterious man in black are one and the same. While I think it was him in this episode, I don't think that means he's a villain.
