been playing an #indiegame called Deep Snow Delivery today - think #DeathStranding combined with #GirlsLastTour - and it's SO GOOD

spent my whole morning on it, it's got the routine delivery stuff i love in Death Stranding (minus the spooks which is good too) and it has really good physics mechanics as well. you've gotta be mindful of your tank's traction, invest in better engine, storage space, etc..

just nails its atmosphere so well too, the snow effects are really damn impressive. everything is rusty and/or frozen and after a while, i could just taste how cold the air was yknow.

apart from a janky physics engine and an ice driving mechanic that didn't make a lot of sense at first (felt amazing when i understood it though), it's just so so so good, absolute 10/10

and the radiotrician is also super cute, i love her

Look, even though this is my groupwatch, I've been noting my issues with GLT this time around. Even if I hold onto my opinion regarding that, this episode...

I think what made this episode different from this others and my favorite so far is how it integrated its philosophical ideas into its plot in a way that felt more natural than previous episodes. Having a third character, particularly a non-human who's been around for a long time, helped diversify the perspectives, along with the specific ideas that were explored.
