Since when was Girls Band Cry planning on making more bands besides Togenashi Togeari and planning on making a mobile game for them?! I had no idea!
Imagine if this releases this year too, when we already have Our Notes as well as the Hololive rhythm game scheduled to come out. 2026 would truly be the year of the rhythm games then.

#GirlsBandCry fini ! Et c’était une très bonne surprise, ma foi ! :3
Et je confirme (pour avoir entendu différents personnages en décrire les principaux traits, jusque dans le dernier épisode) que Nina Iseri est clairement un perso codé #TSA (Tomo aussi, d’ailleurs) !
Pour Subaru, l’ED me faisait craindre le pire du côté capillaire, mais ça n’a pas été montré dans la série. On évite le point malus. Ouf !
Et le choix de la 3DCG, ça allait. On s’y fait vite.
Note MAL : 9/10. Je recommande FORTEMENT !!! 👍

La question qui s’est posée au groupe : vous voulez jouer pour un public, ou pour gonfler des statistiques de toute façon bidonnées ? Le choix fut difficile, mais similaire dans l’esprit à celui que la Fondation Python a prise récemment (et GG à eux, pour une fois).
Oh, le clin d’œil sur le seau de pop-corn !!! XD Et ça tombe bien : on fête les 40 ans de la saga, en ce moment !

#GirlsBandCry, ép. 11 : d’autres lui ont fait la remarque, mais c’est vrai que Nina est beaucoup plus joyeuse, maintenant qu’elle ne se traîne plus le boulet de son passé derrière elle. Au tour de Subaru de mettre les choses au clair avec sa grand-mère, maintenant (et elle aurait déjà commencé). J’espère que cette dernière saura se montrer compréhensive, mais j’ai plutôt bon espoir.
Et c’est le WE du grand concert où elles vont se mesurer frontalement à leurs plus grandes rivales (et anciennes partenaires) !
Oh, et Rupa × Tomo, c’est aussi canon ! :3

#GirlsBandCry, ép. 9 : épisode dédié à Tomo, et qui confirme bien son TSA à elle aussi (plus prononcé que Nina, puisqu’elle a carrément eu besoin de demander à Rupa d’être sa tutrice, en plus de sa colocataire ; et qu’elle a souvent besoin de s’isoler au calme).
Épisode déconseillé aux ophiophobes, sinon. 🐍

#GirlsBandCry, ép. 7 : un premier concert hors-les-murs, un nom de groupe décidé unilatéralement au tout dernier moment, et mention spéciale… au popotin de Rupa (non, rien de salace) ! XD
Ah, et on a aussi pu voir la grande sœur de Nina, et cette dernière a fini par officialiser ce qu’on sentait qui couvait chez elle depuis un moment.
M’enfin, je trouve que la partie drama arrive franchement tôt ! D’ordinaire, c’est seulement lors des 2 à 3 derniers épisodes, mais c’était l’épisode médian, là ! :/

#GirlsBandCry, ép. 6 : Rupa (dont on ignorera toujours le nom complet, voire le vrai nom) et Tomo entrent vraiment en scène ! Au moins collocs, peut-être plus, allez savoir…
On est au moins d’accord que Tomo est une super-introvertie ? Là aussi, potentiellement TSA comme Nina (mais ça en ferait alors deux dans le groupe en cours de formation ? Bon courage pour les gérer, Momoka ! XD Encore que R s’occupe déjà de T) ?
Et… Les nombres d’abonnés sur les RS, c’est plus que surfait, c’est même mensonger.

#GirlsBandCry, ép. 5 : un épisode où le TSA de Nina s’est particulièrement bien vu, avec sa fixette obsessionnelle sur l’ancien groupe de Momoko, et sa difficulté à comprendre certaines choses élémentaires comme le fait que les tickets à refiler soient… payants.
Et je comprends mieux un certain fanart que j’ai vu passer hier, ici (même si ça va être difficile de le rendre canon, vu qui est devenu ce personnage pour elle…).C’est drôle, mais la scène de leur concert m’a rappelé celle du “Starry” (Bocchi The Rock!).

Et elle déteste les imprévus, ce qui va de pair (et non “de paire”, comme je l’ai vu mal écrit sur les sous-titres… >__<) avec la manière dont je perçois le personnage.
PS : non, mais déjà, “pair“ et “paire”, ça se prononce pas pareil, à cause du E final de différence. Rien que ça, ça devrait aider à ne pas confondre, non ??! Ou y a vraiment QUE MOI qui ai écouté les leçons de français à l’école (que j’ai pourtant toujours détestée) ??! è__é

#GirlsBandCry, ép. 2 : où on découvre à quel point notre Nina n’est pas vraiment quelqu’un de commode au quotidien (et aussi pourquoi). C’est même rien de le dire… ^^'
Et arrive Subaru, qui semblerait lui rappeler quelqu’un, vu comment elle a réagi de façon épidermique. Subaru qui, elle aussi, a tiqué en la voyant (mais je saurais pas vraiment dire pourquoi, là).

Alors, pour cette Nina, autant ce que j’avais pu voir d’elle jusque-là me le laissait douter, mais elle est en effet carrément codée TSA, je vous le dis ! °0° Et TDAH aussi.
(J’ai quand même du mal à croire qu’à son âge, elle n’ait JAMAIS su ce que signifiait le nombre 4 compté en binaire avec les doigts… Mais je sens que ça va être un geste qu’on va voir souvent ! ^^)

my name is andy (he/him) and i'm still somewhat new to the fediverse. im a trans guy so thats neat i guess. i see a lot of queer people on this instance so i think i came to the right place haha.
some notes before you consider following or interacting with me: you're free to follow me regardless of your age, but please do be cautious when interacting with me, since i am a minor. i also suspect i may be autistic, but i'm unable to get a diagnosis atm.
now for the fun stuff:
i like to play video games, namely jrpgs and rhythm games. some favorites of mine atm include the #persona series (namely 4 and 5), #pjsk / #projectsekai, #bandori / #bangdream, and #twewy :)
i'm a casual anime watcher as well. i'm currently watching #dungeonmeshi, #devilmancrybaby, and #girlsbandcry. i like fictional girl bands a lot. can you tell.
i draw fanart of my interests every so often when i have the time (or the motivation... lmao)
i also like music a lot, though i don't post about it that much. i've been singing seriously for 7 years, and i've also been learning guitar for around 2 years.
current favorite bands of mine are panchiko, radiohead, nirvana, horsegirl, tricot, chouchou merged syrups, soundgarden, sonic youth, and shudder to think.
i'm also interested in #vocaloid and #vocalsynth music! current favorite producers of mine are nashimoto ui, iyowa, lonepi, parsley onuma, kikuo, and kairikibear :)
aside from posting about my interests i shitpost and ramble about my life a lot. i kind of use social media as a place to yap about whatever piques my interest at the moment.

It's been some time since I've last done a #ThursdayFiveList. Today's theme, presented by @neurothing, is all about #TheChange. I'll look to share songs with different styles of changes.
1) トゲナシトゲアリ (Togenashi Togeari) - Void (Nina Iseri, Momoka Kawaragi)

This song is a starting point to an anime called "Girls Band Cry" where it inspires the protagonist take action in her life compared to going with the flow. In a way, it's a change against societal norms.
2) Porter Robinson - Everything Goes On
A song for the Star Guardian 2022 League of Legends event. It puts into feelings of when a cherished person disappears from their life. In a way, it's a reflective change for those in a loss.
3) LEVEL NINE, seibin, Cosmograph (feat. Shabel Tonya) - Lucky Night
This is song Nikke's event, GOLDEN COIN RUSH, that's all about gambling at a casino. The jazzy upbeat tone gives a fun and tempting vibe of going big or going home.
4) HOYO-MIX feat. Robin (VO: Chevy) - Hope Is the Thing With Feathers
This Honkai: Star Rail song is about commitment to dreams and confronting destiny. The in-universe singer is Robin, whose English VA that sung it is Chevy
5) JELEE - 深海遊泳 (Shinkai Yūei)
From the anime, "Jellyfish Can't Swim at Night", this insert song follows a personal change of one of the main characters. The lyrics also sound as if it's a personal change in finding her own happiness. The in-universe singer is 山やまノの内うち花か音 (Kano Yamanouchi), who is voiced by 高橋 李依 (Rie Takahashi).

i guess it makes sense given the whole dynamic of Jellyfish and Girls Band Cry this season that after Jellyfish's somewhat mid finale, GBC was like "don't worry Jellyfish, we got you, we'll make a WAY worse final episode".

after the kind of padded out episode 12 of Girls Band Cry and the rushed finish of Jellyfish Can't Swim In The Night, i have like a headcanon that some TV executive gave the wrong yuri band anime the 13 episodes they asked for xD and GBC was like "wait what, we didn't ask for 13" and they're like "you're the alt idol band anime with lesbians right" and they're like "yeah but we didn't ask for 13" and they're like "yeah you did cuz you said you were using 1 episode for the trans char" and they're like "what trans char oh you want the OTHER lesbian band anime!" and the exec's like "whatever, i have to catch my flight to burning man, have fun with your 13 episodes bai"

Although Girls Band Cry still has one more episode to go, Jellyfish has ended and I think I can safely say that as a package, Girls Band Cry > Jellyfish, however Jellyfish has Kiui and episode 11.
Rating Jellyfish will be difficult for me. Because on one hand you have Kiui and episode 11 and on the other hand you have a weaker second half (with the exception of episode 11). What I consider to be the highs of this show are really high, as you might guess by simply taking a look at my profile picture, but there's more of the show than simply 1 character and 1 episode.
