I had no idea that they reissued this!
So happy I was able to snag one before they vanished, as there’s only 1000 of them, apparently.GVSB are one of the great unheralded bands of the #90s . I was able to see them play live TWICE back in the day, and they were incredible. There wasn’t a single album of theirs that I didn’t love.
This was their third album, and their second for Touch And Go, a label I absolutely consumed and lived on back then. This has the magnificent “Kill The Sex Player” on it, a song that also appeared on the soundtrack to Kevin Smith’s CLERKS.
For me, this band’s secret weapon was always their awesome rhythm section.

Scott McCloud (Soulside) To Release Debut Solo Album
Scott McCloud (Girls Against Boys, Soulside, Paramount Styles) is set to release his debut solo album, ‘Make it to Forever,’ on January 30, 2026. The first video and single, ‘Come Round,’ is out now. Conceived as raw recordings on acoustic guitar and voice, the album was recorded in Athens, Greece, a place holding “mythological meaning” for him. The songs, fleshed out with musical guests, maintain a vulnerable atmosphere and explore memories, blurring the reality of experience itself.
