    📚 #GirlCrush hatte ich geholt, weil mir der Stil gefiel und nach Band 1 war ich verliebt. 😍

    Der Stil ist super dynamisch und fängt die Bewegungen der Tanz-Moves mega gut ein! Und auch die Figuren haben tolle individuelle Designs.
    Tenka als Hauptfigur fasziniert mich. 🥹 Sie ist eigentlich der Rival Archetype und sieht in der lieben Erian eine Bedrohung. Sie ist ihr gegenüber vielleicht nicht ganz ehrlich, aber sie ist Unterstützend und das hat mich gefreut. ☺️
    Ihre Beziehung zu Harumi hat mich auch abgeholt. Vor allem in Band 2. 🥰 Ich bin gespannt, wie ihre Beziehung weitergehen wird. Freue mich total auf Band 3. :blob_bongo:
    Ich hoffe, der Anime wird nur halb so cool. Die sollen einfach bei K-Pop Demon Hunters abschreiben. 🙈

    Tenka Momose is smart, pretty, and athletic. She has a crush on childhood friend Harumi, but he has eyes only for the adorkable Erian. This seems pretty predictable, except that we’re following Tenka and not Erian. And then they both head off to Korea in an attempt to become K-Pop idols. (Nice knowing you, Harumi.) And then they end up at different agencies. (See ya, Erian.)

    The bulk of the story is Tenka’s personal growth and the competitive nature of the idol business. With Tayama’s stylish designs, it sometimes reads like a sports #manga drawn by a fashion illustrator.

    #GirlCrush is #KPop slang for a cool girl admired by other girls, in case you were expecting a different kind of manga.

    This was originally released online, so the English chapters (currently at ch. 99) are at ComicKey.com while print and digital Volumes are being put out by Viz (currently up to vol. 4/ch. 50) at a fairly quick pace.

    Samstag war dann schon fast ein bisschen stressig. Erstmal zum Yoga (das war schließlich die Ausrede für den WoEndTrip). Und erst Tag vor der Abreise habe ich festgestellt, dass ich nur ne Stunde Zeit habe zwischen Yoga und Theater. Wer schon mal in London war, weiß, wie es um die Sache mit dem Entfernungen steht 😂. Aber, alles gemanaged bekommen 💪🏼

    Sehr empfehlenswertes Stück, brilliant in die Moderne versetzt. Läuft leider nur noch bis 13.4.
