The quotes around ginger ale above aren't meant to be sarcastic, but it works here. This is just Sprite in a fancy jacket. Is this some kind of elaborate practical joke? Anyway, it's bad. Not recommended for... well, anything really 👎👎

Not bad. I was hoping for more spice than it has. In fact, it's very, very sweet. It might be for somebody, but it's not for me. Still, it would work in a pinch if there was nothing else around 👍

Absolutely not. Far too sweet with no spice that I could detect. And... do I taste lime?! This isn't a freaking Moscow mule. I had no expectations and yet I was disappointed all the same 👎👎

"Goslings Ginger Beer"
This is my current go-to. It's got decent flavor and decent spice. It doesn't hurt that it's readily available and somewhat affordable. It might not be as good as Sioux City, but it's still pretty good. Definitely worth a try. 7/10 ginger... roots? Cloves? Whatever 👍

Das hier ist das mit Abstand allerbeste Ginger Ale: Elephant House Ginger Beer, kurz EGB aus Sri Lanka. Keines ist schärfer und intensiver.
Nur leider bekommt man es hierzulande überhaupt nicht (nur per teurer Luftfracht). Sehr schade.
Wenn jemand eine günstige Quelle in Deutsch dafür hat, wäre ich über Infos sehr dankbar!
