Voyager I is about to reach 1 light day away from Earth.
In about 1.29 million years Gliese 710, a star approaching our solar system, will pass within 61 light days of Earth.
Voyager I would make that distance in just 3050 years and we weren't trying to max out its speed.
For all this talk of stars being too far to reach, I reckon we could do that in 300 years or even less if we really wanted.

Pondering the scale of the distance between us and the next star system over (Alpha Centauri) with this schematic of nearby star flybys that come closer. Gilese 710 comes VERY close in a million or so years...
