Hey, #PDX tweeps and music lovers: when Lyricdancer and I were hanging out on the far, far Northern California coast last week, we came across Frankie and the Lost Souls, an "existential indie folk rock band," in a tiny pub in even tinier Westport. They're really good, and they're playing their first Portland gig tonight at a McMenamins in North Portland. They're nice people, they're traveling on a shoestring, and they only get a cut of the gate after the first 40 seats have sold, so we're encouraging other people to come see them. Only $11! After today they're in #GigHarbor WA and then into #Vancouver #BC.
