As Trump's approval ratings have fallen precipitously, from "only hardcore MAGA idiots like him" to "slightly less popular than a politician with multiple communicable diseases", his inner circle and lickspittles in the House and the Senate are all desperately pointing fingers and playing the blame game, trying to ensure that someone, anyone else is blamed for Dear Leader's disastrous administration.
I'm reminded of the saying, which I think was born out of the French revolution and the terrors that followed:
"Every revolution eats its children."
I think in this case, Stephen Miller may be taking this a bit too literally. It's just past noon in Washington, D.C. Do you know where your children are?

So #P1e #Ustalav session on 10 January:
Party beat two #ghasts and freed an elven woman trapped in an iron maiden in the #ghoul warren. She was the presumed-dead fiancee of the PC rogue. They left the warren and questioned her. That led to suspicion she was undead passing as alive. (She was.) She tried to flee and was prevented, then destroyed. She did not at any point attack them or lie to them.
Tragic session.

We missed our last two fortnightly #P1e #Ustalav games (20 Dec and 03 Jan) so my group have scheduled back-to-back weekends on 10 and 17 January to get back into the swing of things.
The party are still deep in a #ghoul warren. I'm hoping to introduce two NPCs this coming session (in the warren), both of whom have been name-dropped in the past. One may not make it through the session in one piece, but we'll see how that goes.

In regards to my #P1e #Ustalav campaign, it took me a bit more than month, but I did "fancy-up" my #ghoul warren map today so it's more readable. I basically colored in all the wall areas with black ink so it's easier to differentiate tunnels from the space between tunnels. In hindsight I should have used thinned black paint, as the ink I used was drying very fast, but hindsight is 20/20, and it looks a lot better than it did.

OK, so I'm back on my #P1e #Ustalav train. Next scheduled session is Saturday (06 Dec).
Last session had the party fighting through my hand-drawn #ghoul warren under the graveyard.
I've since made a stat block for the ghoul bat swarm. Last time I winged it (pun intended) with a ghoul raven swarm stat block. Ghoul bat swarm is a little weaker.
Next I want to fancy-up my warren map a bit so it is easier on the eyes.

I have another scheduled #P1e #Ustalav game tomorrow, Saturday (14 Nov).
Last session the party fought ghouls in a small crypt. They crispied one ghoul with burning hands as it fled down a narrow escape tunnel hidden under a sarcophagus.
The cleric PC said they would explore that escape tunnel next session.
!!! I did not have that tunnel prepared !!!
I do now.
Ghoul warrens here we come.

I need to make a stat block for an RP encounter for my next #P1e #Ustalav session on Saturday (01 November). I expect them to have the RP encounter in the graveyard after they finish their cross-session combat with #ghouls.
It's an RP encounter that is likely to lead to more combat, depending on how observant the player-characters are, so I do need the stat block ready.
But for now I'm procrastinating.
