Ghosts Australia is out now! I really enjoyed it!
An Aboriginal lawyer inherits a massive mansion - but it's full of ghosts.
There's:
a British naval officer from Captain Cook's fleet;
an Irish immigrant;
a Chinese gold miner;
a 1900s debutante;
a 1980s TV aerobics instructor;
and a 1990s bikie (rebel motorcycle gang).There are no Aboriginal ghosts - this was a choice that was made for cultural reasons, as depicting people who have died is taboo/offensive in Aboriginal culture.
The show does address invasion/colonisation though through flashbacks and through conversations between the lawyer and the British naval officer.

Paramount Australia and BBC Studios will produce a localized version of the hit comedy series "Ghosts" to air on Australia's Network 10, owned by Paramount, and Paramount+. It's not known if the series will stream in the US.
