🇷🇴 The public #transport operator in Sfântu #Gheorghe, #Romania, has signed a contract with Solaris to acquire 22 battery-electric buses as part of an ongoing fleet expansion. Scheduled for delivery in the second half of 2027, the order comprises three different vehicle lengths: 12 Urbino 9 LE electric buses, eight Urbino 12 electric models, and two articulated Urbino 18 electric #buses.

All vehicles will feature Solaris High Energy batteries, configured to charge via standard plug-in systems. The agreement marks a further addition to the #Polish manufacturer’s footprint in the country. To date, Solaris has delivered over 850 buses and trolleybuses across Romania, including more than 600 fully zero-emission vehicles.
