The more I learn about this Ghalibaf the more convinced I am that he is corrupt to the bone.
According to the below article Trump demanded to open the strait and threatened to kill the negotiators. Ghalibaf's response was to say that his his team “do not take American threats seriously".
They did not have an option but to leave, what puzzles me is that - with proxies or not - they are still allowing negotiations. Something stinks.
