It has been over a week now and #pathofexile on consoles still hasn't been fixed by #grindinggeargames. Now it is the weekend, and after that of course all hands on deck for the upcoming update to #PathOfExile2. Then at least one week to put out the fires that come with the update.

So best case, #poe on consoles will get a fix the second week of september. But if the previous league bug of Serle's Masterwok is any indication, the fix will come literally never (#ggg said in the first week it would be fixed asap, but it was never fixed throughout the entire 11 month league duration).

It does seem more care/attention/priority is given to #poe2 on consoles, but that game is very incomplete so there's lots of opportunity to mess up the console support.

Luckily there are plenty of good new games to play! :tony_happy:

The latest patch of #pathofexile for consoles - released yesterday - causes crashes after 2 minutes of playing. Completely turning down all sounds seems to extend playtime. But now it is the weekend, so the earliest for a fix is monday. If it comes at all, because it is #ggg of course and they don't care about #poe1 on console.

If anything like this happened on the PC version it would be fixed in like an hour.

I know that radioactivity itself doesn't actually glow in the visible spectrum. However, I understand the common misconception that radioactivity is depicted as glowing green. This is most likely derived from the distinctive yellowish-green color of uranium glass, which does have a green glow under UV light.

Uranium glass was quite fashionable in the 1920s and 1930s, with its unique and eye-catching fluorescent appearance. So when uranium and other radioactive materials were being depicted in popular media and illustrations in the 1940s and 1950s, the only commonly known visual association with uranium was this glowing green glass.

This is probably why the trope of radioactive materials or environments being portrayed as an eerie, glowing green color became so ingrained in the public imagination. The real-world visual cue of uranium glass likely influenced and reinforced this misconception, even though true radioactivity is invisible to the naked eye.

Whelp 😡

I guess I'm not playing #pathofexile for several more months - at least until February 2025 - because the next league won't be until then (at the earliest). Reason given is #PathOfExile2 early access. Despite their promise that PoE 2 development wouldn't impact PoE 1 leagues.

Plus I play on console but even the #ps5 native client crashes frequently, and hasn't gotten any fixes. Haven't played the game since October. On the upside: I also haven't spend any money on MTX 😂

All #ggg resources seem to be being poured into getting the early access of PoE 2 ready - which was already delayed by 3 weeks because of the decision to put early access behind an MTX paywall.
