This is the most "ICE 3" an ICE can get: BR403 :3
(Not a statement about quality … or my favourite ICE 3 variant, but it is perfectly fine.)From Nuremberg to … well … my ticket says Siegburg/Bonn, but i probably want to take the transfer in Frankfurt instead. (The next and last train on this journey is supposed to be BR408, and more time with it (especially on the high speed tracks) is always appreciated.)

And a more then decent selection of free and comfy places is available in the quiet zone.

(This trains makes such lovely electric noises when accelerating :blobcatmeltlove:)Sadly, it is a bit crowded. But that should clear up in KK. So i'm a bike until then :dragnwitch:

Yipp, disappointment from not going at least 290 km/h on the high speed tracks between KK and FFLF is real. But not as bad as it could be. Was still quite nice.
And today's speciality seems to be consistency:
Continuing onwards on another BR412. On the same platform, just crossing a few metres from ICE 101. Getting into carriage 2 again, and taking seat 138 … again. Also going the same direction from the station and the train not being too crowded :3So, onwards to Ulm with ICE 591:

(Which makes this a rather tight connection. But as long as it works, i'm happy not having to wait for long.) -

Sadly, we'll part ways in Cologne already — i'll come for the high speed line again one day :neofox_floof_sad:
