After a still-ongoing 8 day streak, I've *finally* hit 77% (again).
I think it's the highest percentage I've reached playing this game, but it's probably been 2-3 years since I've been at this plateau.
I may have hit higher very early on before I started tracking my stats. I don't remember if the game had the percentage tracking built-in as it does now.

I was overdue to miss because I've been making complete guesses for at least the last 4-5 days since I've never seen these movies.

I've now had correct pick stretches of 11, 9, and currently 12 days, including today's process of elimination complete guess (I've never seen the movie but have seen most of the others, plus time period costume clue).

10 games later, I just hit 50% for this stretch since the 1,000th game.
They threw some extremely difficult (for me) ones in there, and I've been scrambling.
My longest streak since the 1,000th game is 2 days.

After 1,000 games played, and a 12 day correct guess streak, my percentage is 76.6 (766 of 1,000).
The total number of games in the series is 1,523, but I didn't start playing at the beginning.

Although I didn't get anywhere the 80% I once hoped to reach, or my most recently (and badly) missed goal of 77%, as of today I know I at least can't slip below 76% by the 1,000th game.
760 of 994 is my current record.
Not what I'd hoped, but still a very good score.

As of yesterday, I believe, I'll officially miss my goal of reaching 77% by the 1,000th game after one of my worst streaks where I've been hitting about 50%.
I didn't properly think through the clue and made a guess that didn't match the nature of the image.
Unfortunate since I've used that type of matching to make many correct guesses when I wasn't familiar with the image.
Best I can do now is 76.9%.

I missed two in a row the previous two days, and my longest streak the past couple of weeks has been 9 days, but most of been significantly shorter.
At this rate, I won't hit 77% correct by the time we get to the 1,000th entry.

I acted too quickly because the image made me think of a particular movie, whose name I couldn't remember, and I picked what seemed familiar and most likely.

I'm on a pretty good 14 day streak now, but still stuck on 76% (721 correct of 944 total).
I've had some very lucky guesses, as usual, to keep this streak going.

I'm still struggling, my current 5 day streak is the longest of the past couple of weeks by a day or two, but the fact that, as of now, less than 52% have correctly chosen today's movie surprised me.
I thought I was in a small minority of movie lovers who hadn't seen this one long ago, but apparently not.
For me, it was a relatively recent watch, considering its age; maybe about 10 years ago.
It's a very good movie.

I haven't had a streak longer than 4 days since my 23 day streak a couple of weeks ago.
Seems I'm more at risk of slipping back down to 75%, or lower, than I am likely to bump up to 77%, or higher.

Well, thanks to a few educated guesses and a few I knew immediately, I finally got to 76% (on a 19 day streak, one of my longest) which I haven't reached in probably over a year.
I don't remember for sure what my highest percentage was, but I think it was 78%.
Getting to 80%, eventually, would be awesome, but that's not a realistic goal. For now.

After getting it wrong two days in a row, I'm restarting my streak in hopes of hitting 76% in the next month or so.
Today's correct pick is number 666 of 882 games played, out of 1404 games total.

Yup, I got it wrong. Even after I learned who it is, I still don't recognize the actor who I've seen in many other roles in this still.
I wasn't aware of this movie, at all, despite the actor and director being familiar.
I was hoping to get to a month, but this streak is still excellent, for me.
Next: To get my percentage back up to 76% , and beyond. I think my highest ever, a few years ago, probably, was 78%.
