Kein Puls. Keine Atmung. Eine Wiederbelebung wäre möglich, wird aber unterlassen:
Klinischer Tod mit Vorsatz. So ergeht es derzeit einigen #Krankenhäusern in Deutschland. Das ist keine Ironie des Schicksals, sondern eines kranken Systems.

Das Bündnis für #Pflege #Dresden spricht mit ehemaligen Beschäftigten, Politiker*innen und Aktivist*innen, die #Krankenhausschließungen selbst miterlebt haben. In das undurchsichtige, profitgetriebene #Krankenhaussystem wird Licht ins Dunkle gebracht und auch Wege hinaus aufgezeigt. Denn eins ist klar: Ein menschenwürdiges #Gesundheitswesen ist umsetzbar. Es muss sich nur erkämpft werden.

Catastrophic conditions prevail at the KMV. Even the staff describe the conditions as inhumane.

We demand an end to accommodation under these conditions and show solidarity with the patients and relatives who are fighting against these conditions.

We demand an end to the discrimination and disadvantaging of people who are considered mentally ill by the prison system.

The crisis in the prison system does not arise in a vacuum.

The facilities that serve as an alternative or prevention to inpatient treatment are also in a bad way and are threatened by further cuts. Meanwhile, the government is spending more money than ever before on armaments and the military.

The health and wellbeing of large sections of this society is simply not a priority.

This must change.

We demand an end to the disadvantage and discrimination of people who are considered mentally ill.

Köln: Protest gegen Krankenhaus-Schließung

In Köln-Mülheim haben am 18.11.2023 etwa hundert Leute gegen die im Rahmen der Krankenhausreform geplante Schließung der Klinik in Holweide und des Kinderkrankenhauses Amsterdamer Straße protestiert. Das ASN Köln hat sich der Demonstration von Gewerkschafter*innen und linken Organisationen angeschlossen, um gemeinsam gegen den drohenden Stellenabbau und miese Arbeitsbedingungen in der Pflegebranche auf die Straße zu gehen.
