Game Pile: Gestalt: Steam and Cinder

I am delighted when I come across a game that is both engaging to play and interesting to talk about. I routinely experience games where finishing them is a slog but I need to, I feel, in order to comment on the end or the conclusion of the experience, to make sure that my assumptions about the experience are true. Thing is, I like playing videogames, and I’d really rather it if the game has an enjoyable play experience, doesn’t last too long, ideally has a strong sense of personality or style to make it clear what it wants to be, and then, in order to be really interesting to talk about, is just in some way, kind of shit.

#StreetsOfRogue2 - First game was gleefully silly, sequel looks similar with a lot more space to play around.

#RKGK - Trailer only, but really loved to look of the graffiti.

#GestaltSteamAndCinder - Good animation and pixel art, and I'm a sucker for #steampunk.
