    This #votive from #GermaniaInferior is to #Exomna, a Goddess with a #Celtic #theonym meaning 'Fearless'. A masculine form of this same epithet was also applied to Mars #Lenos as "Exobinnos".

    The new hypocaust found in #Bonn is in Friersdorf, which is just south of the #vicus excavations that were discovered when the UN complex in Bonn was built. The hypocaust was thought to be part of a villa when nobody thought Roman Bonna was quite so big. I would love to see how all these plans now fit together. #rome #archaeology #archaeodon #legio #GermaniaInferior
