  1. So in all my driving around North Georgia, I have rediscovered the radio station album 88. Or 88.5 FM.

    It is the Georgia State university radio station that is funded by the student activity fee and frankly still rocks. I was listening to it a teen and now I’m still listening to it at 56. Though I admitted there was quite a long gap there that I didn’t.

  4. On Thursday, January 30, Georgia State will present the inaugeral Charity Scott Lecture, by Daniel Dawes, Director of Meharry Medical College's Global Health Equity Institute. GSU does not provide a title for his talk, but Mr. Dawes' publications include "The Politics of Population Health" and "The Future of Health Equity in America: Addressing the Legal and Political Determinants of Health." Mr. Dawes' lecture is free and open to the public but registration is required. The 7 p.m. lecture is preceded by a reception.
