Just watched #GeorgeOfTheJungle again. Such a fun film. I see that there’s a sequel which I view with great trepidation.

Housemate is watching George of the Jungle tonight. I saw it once as a kid; here are some things I didn't realize at the time:
--It's a parody of Tarzan
--In spite of being a parody, it's got a lot of moments where it's kinder and more interesting than the usual Tarzan narrative
--George is immersion-breakingly sexy, even for a parody. (Also he looks like Prince Charming from Shrek is a parody of *him*.)
