One of the big mementos of the #GeorgeFloyd Protest was the CVS pharmacy at Snelling and University in Saint Paul. Trashed that night, repaired and reopened, then closed and boarded up. Now demolished, and good riddance.
Now what to do with it.
I think a statue of or honoring Mr. Floyd would be nice.

"I can't breathe" is a #slogan of the #BlackLivesMatter movement in the United States. The phrase originates from the #lastWords of #EricGarner, who was killed in 2014 after being put in a #chokehold by a #NewYorkCityPolice officer. A number of other #BlackAmericans, such as #JavierAmbler, #ManuelEllis, #ElijahMcClain, and #GeorgeFloyd, have said the same phrase prior to dying during similar #lawenforcement encounters. …when a direct path to #justice is blocked, #states need to find a work-around. The federal prosecution of the #Minneapolis officers responsible for #GeorgeFloyd’s death offers a model. E.G., officers Tou Thao, Thomas Lane, & Alexander Kueng were held criminally liable for acts beyond the killing. 1st, they failed to provide medical assistance to Floyd as he was dying. 2nd, Lane & Kueng made misleading omissions, while Kueng also lied to investigators in the immediate aftermath of Floyd’s death.

As is standard everywhere in the US, Robbinsdale police allowed this violent abduction. They went a step further though and four days after the abduction released a statement, contradicted by witnesses and video, that "the individual being detained punched an agent in the face."
The person who wrote this statement for Robbinsdale PD, setting up #ICE's retaliatory charges, is almost certainly John Elder, former #Minneapolis PD spokesperson who lied about Derek Chauvin's murder of #GeorgeFloyd
