I'm a relatively late in career returnee to geology; my science is highly operationalised, i'm a #geohazard analyst shift leader at the #NGMC - National Geohazards Monitoring Centre - part of the #Geonet program here at #GNS Science in #Aotearoa #NZ.

Yes, it's shift work; we're right at the sharp pointy end of geohazard response, in a 24/7 operation. Varied interests, most recently working on #Taupo #seismicity analysis, and a W-phase project.
