TIL that @geopandas comes with a built in #geocoder: "By default, the geocode() function uses the #Photon #geocoding API. But a different geocoding service can be specified with the provider keyword."

Fixed a bug on amirentstabilized.com where the address geocoder stopped working due to NYC Planning Labs sun setting v1 of their GeoSearch API. Turned out to be a pretty simple fix to upgrade it to v2. Shout out to the friendly folks over there for making such an awesome #NYC specific #geocoder
