Eine Recycling App, die uns sagen soll wie wir ein bestimmtes Teil am Besten und wo entsorgen hatte Geoblocking. Mir wurde vorgeschlagen, doch einfach mein Telefon auf ein anderes Land einzustellen. Ich hab dann zurück geschrieben, dass das nicht mal eben so einfach geht.
Ein paar Mails gingen hin und her…

Es gibt ja unterschiedliche "VPN" Anbieter, die auch sehr viele Versprechen machen. Auch preislich gibt es da sehr unterschiedliche Klassen, von kostenlos bis übertrieben teuer.
Mittlerweile gibt es auch so viele Anbieter, dass man leicht den Überblick verliert.
Es gibt aber auch Software zum selbst hosten, die ähnliche Aufgaben erledigen.Mich würde mal interessieren:
- Was verwendest du?
- Wie verwendest du es?
- Warum hast du dich dafür entschieden?
- Würdest du es weiterempfehlen?

One could try to argue “Yes but we have regulations to force football teams and stadia to stop hooligan violence…” — and yes we do, but that regulation applies only to the UK; the foreign teams & stadia have their own laws.
Maybe they’re looking for a way to avoid painting all Britons as potential Internet hooligans?
