    #genuary2022 Day 2: made in 10 minutes

Recently cleaned up/refactored some of my coordinate mapping and curve plotting code; so grabbed some test code and added a small amount of parameterized randomness.

Here: Bipolar mapping of At sin(Bt) / Ct cos(Dt) for some mutually prime A, B and C, D

  3. Been creating some new pieces, based on some of my experiments from #genuary2022...with plans to print....couldn't open the files in anything.

Finally figured out the problem...I'd been rendering bitmaps bigger than 8000x8000. But just by a few pixels.

Such a silly mistake. But silly mistakes are usually the ones that take time to debug.

So, time to update that code.

  4. @jesshewitt I've been finally playing with things I created for #genuary2022. Took me a while to get over the burnout, but having fun with them again.

  5. @vanderZwan @darth_mall Yes! This! My daily #inkyDays drawings are small and mostly sketchy...only sometimes does it come out 'perfect'...having that space to be publicly imperfect is liberating. And when I did the #genuary2022 challenge, I started in December, did more than one on some days, and none on other days...just the posting was daily.

  6. Just added a bunch of images from my last #genuary2022 post. I'm gonna have to come back to this piece, and improve it. But these early renderings make me so happy.

  7. #genuary2022 Day 31 prompt: "Negative Space"

And with this last #generativeart piece, I complete all 31 of the #genuary challenges/prompts. Some better than others. Wow! I'm both exhausted and exhilarated.

  11. #genuary2022 Day 28 Prompt: "Self Portrait"

For most #genuary challenges, I've been creating something new. But for today's I'm going back to one of my favorite's: "Self Drawing Code". A python script that draws an image of itself.

  14. #genuary2022 Day 25 Prompt: "Perspective".

I decided to explore a 2-point perspective image generator, coding from scratch in vanilla javascript.

    Results? Umm...ok, I guess.
