  1. That's right.
It goes in the rectangular, triangular and half circle hole

  2. Today's #genuary prompt seemed perfect for a Truchet tiling image, where the curve perfectly fills the space.

  3. "With 4 parameters I can fit an elephant, and with 5 I can make him all fluffy." - John von Neumann

    fluffy = 100
    x(t) = -60*cos(t) + 30*sin(t) - 8*sin(2*t) + 10*sin(3*t) + sin(fluffy*t)
    y(t) = 50*sin(t) + 18*sin(2*t) - 12 * cos(3*t) + 14 * cos(5*t) + cos(fluffy*t)

  4. Genuray 2026 Day 14: "Everything fits perfectly."

While working on this one, I started experimenting with creating an SVG from one of my hand drawn patterns. It's been a long time since I've done that. Ha!

  5. #genuary Day 14: "Everything fits perfectly"

This was super fun to code. Give me 36 seconds of your time, and afterwards, let me know whether it was worth it! :D

  6. #genuary14 Prompt: Everything fits perfectly

Hey I found a new optimal packing for 18 squares! It fits perfectly 🥰

  7. #genuary2025 #genuary #genuary12 #genuary14: only black and white, subdivision. Combining the two prompts. Not in love with this, but can't tweak all day. Variation on the Koch curve.

Yes, I know it's February 1, and the world is on fire.

Edit 1: Not Sierpienski triangle! Edit 2: Here's the code: web.ludus.dev/?code=let+side_l

"Pure black and white. No gray." and ”Generative Architecture." and "Inspired by brutalism."

Combining the prompt for today and 2 earlier ones I had skipped that seemed to go well together. A chance to play more with lighting & shadows. Dithering with blue noise to just black and white pixels.

  9. #Genuary14 Just Black and White. Here I tried to randomly "shade" some rectangles with black dots. Not quite what I was going for, but this is all an experiment. Code davebauer.art/web-and-python-p

  10. #Genuary2025 #Genuary14 prompt: Pure black and white. No gray.
#Genuary2024 #Genuary7, prompt: Progress bar / indicator / loading animation.

Again #p5js shows its use for quickly prototyping elements for development of the Synthstrom Deluge open source firmware. I should be able to port over the code pretty easily. Here I simulated the way the OLED screen appears, just zoomed in a lot. The shape on the right represents an SD card.

  11. Genuary 2025 Day 14: "Pure black and white. No gray."

    "Octapodicalus Punctum Albus"

A very rare species of octolateral pointillist beings living in the black void.
Feeding on single-pixel organisms they catch in their grids...

  12. #genuary14 - Pure black and white. Parametric equations define the overall s-curve and the position and size of the individual wavy circles. #parametricequation #genuary #genuary2025

  13. #Genuary 12/13/14: A line-based triangle subdivision algorithm

Three prompts in one project/day is some kind of record for me, but these all fit together so nicely I couldn't resist. I want to go back and color the tris, though. Soon.
