I always find findings derived from #historical #museummaterial particularly fascinating. In the case of the work by authors H. R. Ghanavi et al. (2026), a 40-year-old specimen of #Drosophila #enhydrobia was almost completely #genomically #reconstructed using #museomicmethods.
