  1. #SpatialCognition question: any studies that show that if you learn a response (e.g. "turn left at choice point) in one environment, you are more likely to repeat this response in a new environment?

    So, "response #generalisation" ?

I'm pretty sure this is a thing but can't find a good study to cite about it...

OK, I apologise for my . I was being a little bit .

  12. 📣Hey #NLProc! We are planning to organise a * #ACL workshop on #generalisation (benchmarking) in #NLP. Goals: provide a stage to discuss SOTA evaluation & create+agree on a set of challenging generalisation tests for the near future. Interested? 💪🙌

  17. I'm thinking about how to relate #ModelBuilding and #ModelEvaluation to #OpenScience. I'm not there yet, but anyone who wants to think along, feel free! Model evaluation, thinking about #validity and how #standardization and #generalisation interact, among others...

Have you ever considered why people in #Europe aren't choosing to have more children?

Europe is very heavily populated already.

It is your choice to label #Europeans who don't want irresponsible levels of #immigration and #populationGrowth as "#xenophobic", however by doing so you are over-simplifying a #complexProblem.

Making such a #generalisation, #muting and not wishing to engage in #debate might be #expedient but will only deepen the problems.
