One of the best examples of Jesus is that he went out and did the work. He even received baptism not because he needed it, but because he had to be the example. "I am not above the law" is a powerful statement. #ldsconf #generalconference

Remember that Moses called himself "slow of speech" which has been interpreted to mean he had a stutter. He still went on to accomplish great things. #ldsconf #generalconference

We have a very radical form of universalism in which not only do we believe all can be saved, but all are entitled to the direct light of God. As a "peculiar people", we should embrace it! #ldsconf #generalconference

Today was day 1 of the worldwide conference[1] for my church. With all the madness in the world I wanted someone to justify my outrage. I hoped for some heat 🔥. What I got instead was light ☀️. I was reminded to do the most good I can, to make the most of what God has given me, to love people, even difficult ones. There is a lot of genuine awfulness out there, but light overcomes the darkness; good, the evil; love, the hate. I needed that reminder. #GeneralConference

Really leaning hard into "a hospital for sinners, not a rest home for saints". We should be united around a common sense of purpose, a knowledge that we're imperfect but trying, and not any other attribute. Diversity in the Church is good! #ldsconf #generalconference
