Why is the East Bay Times featuring on its front page a story about a toy store in San Diego in its "Things To Do" section?
San Diego is 500 miles away from the East Bay. This is not a day trip.
Oh, it's because the East Bay Times is owned by the same folks who own the La Jolla Light.
Because there is no local news anymore - just endless consolidation and centralization.
This is part of the problem.

This country was never great. It was never about peace, freedom, or liberty for anyone other than a handful of perverts who believe they have some divine right to tell the rest of us how to live.

We don't need to accept the terms of the perverts - their wealth and influence is built on top of our backs.
Deny them your labor and your attention.
Focus your efforts on building back the communities they destroyed and took from you.
Share the labor and proceeds with your communities as equally as possible.
The perverts are **TERRIFIED** of you doing this - because they are useless and powerless without you.
You have the real power - use it.

So many of the so-called "solutions" to the problems created by perverts require us to continue validating their existence.
Unions, for example, exist in opposition to the managerial / ownership side of a business. Too often, union leaders themselves become managerial, which taints their intentions.
Cooperatives, on the other hand, place management and ownership of labor where it belongs - with those doing the actual work.

I'm glad we've disappointed them so far, but I would also appreciate a nice long #generalstrike (accompanied by #mutualaid) to kick off.
We need to starve this shithole system, and feed our better-deserving neighbors.

The perverts got scared during the pandemic - their power and influence was called into question as millions were forced to stay home instead of sell their lives to them.
Everything we're seeing now is in response to that fear - and they've not been shy or secretive about that.
Until we "fall in line", they will continue to apply suffering to those "beneath" them.
We need to take our lives back from them. Now.

Too many people associate "populism" with racism, sexism, etc.

The opposite of populism is establishmentarianism.
Populism says the government should be responsive to the needs of its citizens.
Establishmentarianism says the people exist exclusively to serve the perverts.
