Problems including a $500 fine imposed in court, points on the license, more expensive insurance, inability to get paid work in the USA and probably inability to leave the USA for any chosen reason too. Problems also potentially including deportation of Atha back to the UK.
USCIS made a mistake and they are leaving it to us to pick up the pieces, and fast.
