I'll let you in on a little secret:
Trans people don't owe you a look.
Not trans women.
Not trans men.
Not enbies.And the reason is beautifully, almost painfully simple:
Women can look however they want.
Men can look however they want.
Non-binary people can look however they want.Long hair. Short hair. No hair. Makeup. Beards. Dresses. Suits. Combat boots. Platform Mary Janes. Hoodies. Glitter. None of it is a membership card.
Gender isn't a costume you're qualified to judge. It isn't hidden in someone's genitals. It isn't measured against your stereotypes, or anyone else's.
The only person who gets to define someone's gender is the person living it.
Everything else is just people mistaking prejudice for insight.

Today’s office outfit is basically a sunset with attitude -> glowing orange top, juicy nylon kneesocks (toes? cut off... of course), and my brand new bag that’s so bright it probably has its own gravitational pull.Barefoot, electric blue toenails sparkling under the office lights, black skirt swaying just enough to tease those rainbow Snagtights Chub Rubs peeking through.
