If you think about all the Google resources, the data it has access to and everything they contributed to #AI (concepts, technology etc), it's amazing that at release Gemini Ultra is not as good as GPT4 and sometimes even worse. Ofcourse it's called version "1.0" so maybe they improve fast but nobody is impressed until now. How is that possible, are the smarter people working at OpenAI ? Or do they have other advantages?
