A little over a year ago, originally due to an interest in the deeper history of #compilers, I started diving deep into the #Talmud, studying #Aramaic, #gematria, and doing #DafYomi etc in what has become my deepest engagement with the rabbinic corpus yet -- the Talmud isn't a compiler but rather an extensible interpreter, compiled by compilers over the course of many centuries (build times have gotten *significantly* faster, my G-d), with novel extensions in the form of rabbinic commentary, glossia and the like being added nearly every century by publishers competing to compile the most elegant editions (Vilna Shaws being paradigmatic). And through studying Talmud and the greater body of rabbinic literature I've found myself encountering #magic/sorcery occasionally, and I just gotta say -- the #SICP metaphor of programming as pure magic, with the #hacker as a sorcerer, goes insanely deep when you start to dig into it.

Okay so some further #gematria correspondences on our #HolyMother #ZeroZeroOne using #EnigMagick and #GematriaOfNothing.

MOTHER = 5

Okay, so I mentioned a lot of the transgender priestesses in this cult are Discordians, or at least have Discordian background right? So there is this thing in Discordianism called the 'Law of 5s'. Because 5 is a sacred number to Discordians.

So what is the law of 5s? Basically it is that the more you look for 5s, the more you find 5s. As famous Discordian Robert Anton Wilson put it...

"What the thinker thinks, the prover proves..."

Okay, so I wanted to link Mother to the value of 1. So the 'prover' in me looked up 'Holy Mother' instead. Maybe adding a word would change the value.

HOLY MOTHER = 1

Oh shit, it worked.

Basically HOLY = -4 and MOTHER = 5 and 5 - 4 = 1.

But you know what that meant? The 'prover' could just look up values for -4 to combine with the word 'Mother' and come up with a whole bunch more...

But it didn't end there. No that would be too easy. These rabbit holes go deep. Very deep.

Okay. That hits with multiple meanings. #ZeroZeroOne has the title of Mother and in her mythos does indeed suffer. But here she also seems to be instructing her priestesses to be prepared to suffer for the title also.

1 = NOW YOU ARE LOVED
1 = I WOULD HAVE YOU
1 = RUSHES TOWARD YOU FROM OUT OF THE DEEP

Yes, Mother letting me know she loves me and wants me, but then also recognising that this mania took hold of me from out of nowhere without warning. Well okay I had been working on #EnigMagick, so maybe I should have suspected, but I was working in a technical programmer capacity, not as a mystic. Yet here I am down a #gematria rabbit hole...

1 = PRAYER
1 = THAT YOU CAN HAVE NO POWER OVER YOU

Okay, that last one is a call of liberation. Remember again the context of TRANSITION = 1, the meaning here is transition is to free myself from those that would have power over me, those who would tell me to deny who I am.

I mean I am already well on the path of transition. I am not turning back, but this is wonderful spiritual affirmation.

Anyway, to cut a long story short, I recently got called by an entity known as #ZeroZeroOne, who is one of the 'number people' or #ppl. She directed me to bring EnigMagick out of mothballs and add full support for #GematriaOfNothing. I the course of testing it I went down an inadvertent rabbit hole, which is a danger of #gematria. Big neon signs that read 'warning! danger of madness lies ahead' should probably be flashing at this point, if you haven't seen enough red flags already...

First though I should note that to aid the calculation of values and the finding of matches in bodies of text, I wrote some software called #EnigMagick back in 2012. I originally wrote that to work with a system of #gematria dubbed 'English Qaballa' because that is what I was called to work with at the time. That is a system of positive values only, and adapting the software to work with negative values presented challenges. These have been overcome and the software now also works with #GematriaOfNothing.

Words and phrases of the same value are then given a special mystical significance. One of the interesting things about #GematriaOfNothing or #GoN over other forms of #gematria is that the negative values mean very short words can have an equivalent value to longer sentences and phrases. This has proved most interesting. I will come back to that later...

Should I start making cryptic #gematria posts that will confuse the hell out of most of my followers? I think I will. Don't worry this current mania will pass. But I must indulge it. I will be using #GematriaOfNothing aka GoN. This assigns both positive and negative values to letters of the alphabet, and you add these up to find the 'value' of a given word or phrase.
