Casual atmosphere, formal dress not required, but please grab a free ticket so we have an idea on numbers.

You enjoyed it so much last time, we're running another #GeekUp Leigh. And to keep you on your toes, we're running it next Thursday on the 18th of June, starting at 7PM. At @leigh_hackspace, details on EventBrite, I promise future ones will be slightly less disorganized.

Of course, we would love to see as many of your there as possible, and there will be pizza.

@leigh_hackspace If anyone needs public transport lifts for #Geekup Leigh and knows me personally, feel free to drop me a DM. I'm happy to get people to/from the various local transit stations.

Geekup Leigh will happen on the 30th October at @leigh_hackspace, starting at 1900. Free pizza of various types will be provided, and a fully stocked tuck shop for soft drinks and other snacks will be available.

GeekUp is a community of web designers, web developers, and other tech-minded folk from the UK. It's a grassroots knowledge sharing and networking social for folks involved or interested in the web and technology industry.

We're not running talks, but we would love people to come and show off what they've been doing since 2015.

Old timers are warmly received and we would really love to see new faces as well.

Yvelines, convention ce week-end : le Geek'Up Festival aura lieu samedi et dimanche (25 et 26 mai, respectivement 10h-19h et 10h-18h) à Les Clayes-sous-Bois. Au programme : culture geek, fantasy, SF, fantastique, mangas, cosplay, Kpop, jeux de société et de rôle. On y verra notamment @hist_myth !
